Solutions for the BCS

Fact is there is more than enough money in college football today, and sponsors would be lining up and drooling with each game getting a higher TV rating than the next to prove who is college footballs best team.

What is exciting for me is that the drama is building!

As much as the NCAA and BCS want things to remain the same so that they can take care of their good ole boy system by placing them in highly paid positions as "Bowl Chairman", and all of them watch their pockets get fatter.  The good news is that there are people in the world who are challenging these institutions for the chance to change the system.  Authors, Billionaires, US Senators, State Governors, and yes US Presidential candidates are building cases, so that when this last BCS contract runs out in January 2014 a real NCAA Football National Champion can be crowned.

So the real question that all of you are asking yourself right now is HOW?  Tell us Mike how are we going to get to the point where we can have a real national champion. Over the next few blog posts these ideas are what we are going explore.  Hopefully we can start building a fire with these options to tweak the current system that will lead to a smooth transition of a playoffs beginning in some capacity in 2015.
